The Bulldogs defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores 9-0 in the definitive Game 3 of the 2021 College World Series to bring the trophy home to Starkville. Loyal Bulldog fans filled the stadium and helped to set a CWS record for total attendance for a CWS final series (72,226) and for the final game (24,052). 2
